Try to steal the Holy Lance if you can, but your main priority here is too keep your HP up. When attacking, unleash your best magic and physical strengths, and you'll realise that Ark has bitten off more than he can chew.

 

 

Valia Pira will begin by scanning you for any bloodstones, and this will make him much stronger, but the more bloodstones you have in your possession, the less stronger he'll be. Either way, Valia Pira is a keen magic user, and will often use Reflect on itself. Use lots of thunder and wind attacks and keep an eye on your HP.

 

 

 

 

Keep one character for total healing, especially after Meltigemini uses its Virus attack. Meltigemini isn't very tough to beat as long as you work to your strengths.

 

 

 

This fight isn't too rough, just use your finest of magic and Eidolons to end this duel fairly quickly, but watch out, because Taharka has some mean attacks.

 

 

This fight can be extremely tough, as you only have Zidane and Quina to use. Auto-Float will severely help you out here, and it will be even better if Zidane goes into his Trance. Earth Guardian has some unpleasent attacks, so a considerable amount of Hi-Potions in your inventory could prove vital for this encounter.

 

 

You will struggle at the start of this fight as Zidane is alone, but soon after, he is joined by Freya, and then Amarant. Use plenty of your best attacks.

 

 

Abadon doesn't put up much of a fight, but has quick reactions. You have no magic users in your party at this current time, so you'll resort to your strongest physical attacks to tame this giant fly.

 

 

You won't be able to prevent the Shell Dragon from almost killing Zidane, but then, Garnet comes to your aid and fully heals Zidane. The key here is to use Eidolons and Zidane's physical attacks, but restoring any HP you loose.

 

 

Introducing Kuja's companion....Silver Dragon. Your main concern should be to keep your HP amounts at a reasonably high level, due to Silver Dragon's beastly attacks. Hit back with magic, eidolons and anything else you've got to put up a decent fight.

 

 

Even though Garland has a huge amount of HP and MP, don't let this lead you into thinking that he's almost impossible to defeat, as he's actually fairly weak. Just don't give him time to think by using your upmost best magic, eidolons and other attacks and you'll be victorious in no time.

 

 

Its now time to battle the evil and mysterious Kuja. As usual, make constant use of your Eidolons, best magic and attacks and watch out for his Flare Star attack. Eventually, once his mass of HP has been depleted, he'll unleash Ultima to end the battle, and you can then witness Kuja go berserk and destroy Terra, leaving him in a Trance mode!
